MOMF 2024 Workshop Series (Free Event)
Bring Your Laptop with the Latest Version of MuseScore Studio installed: Share your music with bandmates, subs, or those that want to play your music (because they like it), collaborate with co-writers, hear your music on various instruments, share sound files of your tunes!
MuseScore Studio is free (open-source) music notation software available for Windows, Apple and Linux platforms. (Note: The iPad MuseScore software doesn’t have the correct features for this workshop).
This is an introductory session that looks at getting started with a powerful (and free) software tool, called MuseScore Studio. MuseScore Studio is music notation software (similar to Finale). In this session we’ll look at getting started, creating simple charts and lead sheets for your bandmates, subs, or anyone else that might want to play your songs.
