Nate’s workshop is a safe place to work on your songs, talk about lyrics, receive feedback from other songwriters, and provide feedback to others.

Nate Boots is an alt-folk singer & songwriter out of North Mankato, Minnesota, who specializes in alt-folk songs. He founded musical groups The Porchlights, Jim the Harpooner, and The High Horses, and he released solo albums in 2020 (WHEREVER YOU MAY ROAM) and 2022 (UPRIGHT DUST) with a new release planned for 2024 (STRETCH OF WING). He has played across southern Minnesota, Northern Iowa, Western Wisconsin, and into the Dakotas, and he has been featured on KMSU’s “Keepin It Local,” Radio Heartland, and Minnesota Public Radio.
