Joe Weckwerth is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Minnesota whose solo acoustic act brings flesh and blood to every song he writes and performs. Rooted in the Americana folk tradition and influenced by legends such as Bob Dylan, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earl, and Lyle Lovett, Weckwerth’s sets are full of songs that meet us down on the ground, right where we are. Whether witty, energetic, reflective, or sorrowful, his work feels like honest reflections of the life we both enjoy and endure every day.
Currently based in Saint Peter, Minnesota, Weckwerth performs across Southern Minnesota and is working on recording and releasing his first singles.

Chase D. Burkhart is a creative music professional based in southern Minnesota.
When he’s not directing choirs in the public school system or leading worship music for faith communities, Burkhart pursues an active solo performance schedule. Audiences can expect to hear interpretations of vintage and modern musical genres from a classically trained baritone finger-picking on a nylon string guitar for solo bookings. However, the Burkhart band plugs into amplifiers exploring electric textures.
As a songwriter, Burkhart reveals a nostalgic reverence for human connection with a penchant for rhythmic wordplay. Tributes to friends, family, and lovers long lost pepper his emerging catalog, along with themes of life’s lessons learned and hopes for the future. Burkhart nestles his words within a Folky, Jazzy, Alt-Country musical aesthetic.
Burkhart’s most notable credits to date stem from his years singing with Minneapolis-based professional choir the VocalEssence “Ensemble Singers”. Highlights include performances at the 2014 World Choral Symposium in Seoul, South Korea, selling out the National Theatre in Shanghai, China, appearing on Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor, and backing up The Rolling Stones for their final encore at TCF Bank Stadium in 2015.
In addition to numerous private and public event contracts, Burkharts other credits include composing/performing guitar music for original stage productions at the MN Fringe Festival and Open Eye Figure Theater. Burkhart also promotes “CANVAS JAM”, a reoccurring live art & music show that features performances of singer/songwriters original songs only while visual artists create fresh works inspired by the live music.
