Application To Perform

Thank you for your interest in performing at the 2026 MN Original Music Festival (MOMF). You are applying to perform for MOMF’s Main Stage Concert Series, at Minnesota Square Park in Saint Peter, MN, on Sunday, July 19. We will be reviewing applications in January and February and will be begin contacting acts sometime in February into March. Please be patient, we are volunteers and sometimes things move slowly. All acts will be required to provide an updated W9 and sign a contract. We’re looking forward to reviewing your music.

MOMF Applications are now closed.

MOMF provides a variety of FREE programming. Programming that we are currently working on for 2026 include the following (we are still working on details for most of these but check back):

Songwriters in the Round, Thursday, May 7, Arts Center of Saint Peter, host Joe Tougas. This is an intimate conversation/performance, hosted by local musicians and Minnesota-based guest artist(s) that have inspired us.

Hip Hop Showcase, Saturday, June 27, Patrick’s on Third (Saint Peter), host !ntell!gent Des!gn (aka Robert Kolbe). If you are a Hip Hop artist and are interested in performing, watch our Facebook page for updates and information.

MOMF Fundraiser, Sunday, July 12, Patrick’s on Third (Saint Peter), hosted by the Quantum Mechanics. This is where local musicians come together for performances and jams in an effort to raise money for MOMF programs.

48 Hour Band Challenge Draft, Thursday, July 16, Paddlefish Brewing, hosted by “Punk Rock” Tom Heffernan. This has become one of our most successful events. If you’re a musician, you can sign up to participate (an application will be available on this website late Spring/early Summer). You will attend the Draft event, get placed in a band with other musicians, receive event instructions, choose band names and get to work. 48 hours later you will be performing with your group at Patrick’s on Third at the 5th annual 48 Hour Band Challenge Contest.

48 Hour Band Challenge Contest, Saturday, July 18, Patrick’s on Third, Saint Peter, MN, hosted by “Punk Rock” Tom Heffernan. More fun than you’ve ever had. There are a variety of prizes at stake. [Btw, this is an excellent place to network, meet other musicians, and on occasion, new band mates.]

The Songwriters Stage/Hot Jazz Series, Friday, July 17, Minnesota Square Park, Saint Peter, MN. In 2026 this will be a collaboration between MOMF and the Arts Center of Saint Peter featuring brand new music commissioned specifically for this event.

MOMF Main Stage Concert Series, Sunday, July 19, Minnesota Square Park, Saint Peter, MN. A full day of original music, food and artisans. Bring your own beverages (no bottles allowed in the park by City ordinance), or checkout our food vendors.
