Follow the Artist and the Music

The Orange Goodness is an exciting groove-infused alt/indie rock band from Minneapolis. Mike Michel (vocals/guitars) Ian Allison (bass) & Reese Kling (drums) have been in the psyche of music enthusiasts for their sidemen work with MN greats Dessa, Haley, Jeremy Messersmith, Desdamona, and Carnage but their first love is writing and performing groove-infused alt/indie rock songs. Drawing inspiration from artists like Gorillaz, Beck, Cake, & Vulfpeck, The Orange Goodness are sponges for global rhythms and organic analog sounds that move and inspire. The Orange Goodness are trying to help the planet one song and one gig at a time!

Jordan has assembled a live all-star band to back him. On drums, his father Bob Johnston is a former staff writer & producer for Grammy Award Wining and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis of Flyte Tyme Productions. On Keyboards is Demar DEMZ Gayle from the national touring, Grammy nominated reggae band “Raging Fyah.” On bass is Ace Mack. Ace has extensive national touring experience sharing the stage with acts such as, Richard Marx, Silk, Cameo and Ann Nesby (Sounds of Blackness.) On guitar is Alex Halikias. Coming from New York City, Alex has played in many successful rock acts bringing an edge to Jordan’s sound.
